I’m really, really proud of this essay and was honored to see it published on IHTOV. It allowed me to talk about a record I love but also revisit and work through one of the most difficult times in my life. I’m working on another essay and have an idea for a book on punk rock and mental health.

When you use alt text, I'm thrilled. I love reading what people write. I love to read how people interpret what they see, what they think is important, the details I might not otherwise have known to see, the piece of knowledge you're introducing me to. It's a flexible, fabulous tool.
