Howard Jones was 70 in February and still goes at it harder than all of the top 40 put together. If you have tickets for his tour, get prepared because trust me, you're not. Wear sequins. Take sunglasses. The encore alone is worth the ticket price. A full Forum in Bath just had one hell of a night.

I live on an island. The bridge is presently closed due to an accident involving a bus, I'm mainland side. Apparently there is a whole funeral cortege stuck on the other side of the bridge further down trying to get off 😞.

I'm in what I think may be my new new favourite cafe this morning. Temper Trap and Art of Noise sit surprisingly well alongside Abba and Busted (yes, really) on the playlist, the coffee is excellent and the vibes are.

I've just watched my team lose to Coventry. We did our leave it until the last minute of extra time to score thing which I both love and hate. They are very fast, strong and will probably win the league but will do so looking like technicolour prawns in their away kit 🙈

Have I just been out of the game for a while or are microwave meals going a bit overboard with flavourings these days? I like to taste food not explode my taste buds in more colours than I can see?
