I've been lucky enough to see him live quite a few times now but this was something else. The Forum is always a joyous venue when packed, and learning/knowing HJ's Bath connections only brought the audience closer. Epic. Truly Epic.

The nonchalance with which he drops bluesy chords and jazz syncopation into rethinks of songs you've heard a million times, all dovetailing neatly with more hits, chat, outfits and charm. The lighting designer deserves prizes and the monitors, stage and front of house crew were smooth as anything.

My thoughts entirely. Resigning for this mean they dodge that bullet :/
