draconym on tumblr - I think it sucks that you have to go to so many different kinds of doctor to take care of yourself. It's the 21st century. I should be able to go to a single office where they scan me with a big xerox machine and tell me what I'm allergic to and why my tummy hurts and if I have any any cancer or cavities or if my glasses prescription has changed. And then I should get a sticker.

reasons why chronically ill are so tired - They're chronically ill - 4.014 doctor appointments - Taking a shower is like running a marathon - Medical admin is at least a part-tim job - Doctors Keep taking all their blood lol - Medical trauma drains your energy - Masking your illness IS exhausting - Did mention they're ill - Advocating for yourself IS also exhausting - Constant pain drains your energy too

I went to Neko Ngeru Cat Cafe in Lower Hutt again this afternoon, so here are some cat photos for all my feline lovers.
One of the new cats at the cat Cafe. He is grey and white and likes to bite. He is being trained not to. A very chill black and white cat called Mo. He is having a nap on the tall cat tree. @chronicnotebook - The person you know with a chronic illness, chronic pain or a mental illness does not always "get used to it" over time. We still find ourselves surprised at how bad our symptoms can be and struggle to cope with how much they impact us... no matter how long we've had them for.

Looks like Microsoft have finally realised moving people onto the more expensive AI bundled 365 without asking was a shitty thing to do.
In October 2024, we announced changes to our Microsoft 365 pricing for subscribers in New Zealand. We recognise we could have been clearer in our communications about the full range of Microsoft 365 subscription options including the option to switch to Microsoft 365 Personal Classic. Our relationship with our customers is based on trust and transparency and we apologise for falling short of our standards. We want to ensure you have all the information you need to make the choice that’s right for you, so we are sharing that information below, including the opportunity to receive a refund. Option 1: Stay on Microsoft 365 Personal, your current plan Microsoft 365 Personal includes the core Microsoft 365 apps plus our AI assistant Copilot and ongoing feature updates.  Microsoft 365 Personal renews at $17 NZD per month tax inclusive. If you wish to stay on Microsoft 365 Personal, no action is needed. Option 2: Switch to Microsoft 365 Personal Classic and receive a refund While Microsoft 365 Personal Classic includes the core Microsoft 365 apps and regular security updates, it does not include our AI assistant Copilot and may not receive new feature updates. Microsoft 365 Personal Classic renews at $12 NZD per month tax inclusive, the price you paid before the increase.  If you want to continue using Microsoft 365 Personal Classic after you switch plans, you’ll need to keep recurring billing enabled.
