Strong counterpoint to the coalition’s fake arguments against renewables costs
Price shocks force factories to dump gas for cleaner energy
Industrial energy users are starting to turn away from natural gas after a jump in prices, and as solar systems, batteries and heat pumps become cheaper.

Love or hate Tesla, this effectively ends the argument: 11 MW of solar and 39 MWh of Megapack storage powering a 164-stall, fully off-grid Supercharger in California. Proof that not just transport, but electricity itself, no longer needs fossil fuels. The tech exists. The excuses are gone. #Lithium
Tesla Just Opened Its Biggest Supercharger Station Ever—And It's Powered By Solar And Batteries
Tesla's huge 164-stall charger in California is powered by solar panels and huge amounts of off-grid storage.

ICE is finished in China.

Sales of petrol & diesel cars peaked in 2017 — the same year EVs started their takeoff. In 2020, only 1 in 18 new cars was electric. By 2024, it’s 1 in 2. This year it’s tracking for 60%.

This isn’t a fad — it’s the world’s biggest industrial shift in motion. #EV #Lithium

China’s pledge: 7–10% GHG cut by 2035, 3,600 GW wind+solar = classic symbolism. Reality: 2020 targets smashed 6 yrs early, adding ~350–400 GW #renewables a year, #EVs past 60%, #BESS surging. On this track, a 30% fall is baseline, >50% plausible. The pledge is diplomacy—delivery will be far bolder.
