So love wobbegongs. Everything is good about the wobbegong. Its name. Its flattened Oscar the Grouch face. Its frondy bits. Its lazy life as a hungry rug. And it’s a shark. Outstanding animal 10/10
The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

I'm an iNat fan, and a regular user for personal and research goals. This is the first I've heard of this project. It's an admirable goal, and an important goal that can potentially advance biodiversity knowledge and conservation efforts. But I think there are a few issues to think about here... 🧵

📱iPhone tip: need to scan a document fast? Don’t fumble around by going into an app first. Instead, tap and hold either the Files or Notes app icon on your Home Screen. Then you can choose Scan Document and get right to it. I prefer Files, as Notes can get cluttered with scans pretty fast. 👍
