Gosh, it feels so good to finally have released Zensical on November 5! Together with the search, we've basically worked in the dark for 2 years – generally a very bad idea, as you can't know whether you nail the problem you're aiming to solve or not.

Direct shoot regeneration using Arabidopsis WIND1 (35S:AtWIND1) + pAtESR:IPT. The idea is WIND1 both reprograms and activates ESR promter, and subsequently activates cytokinin synthesis via pESR:IPT for shoot regeneration. #PlantScience

Imagine you could explicate the relationship between language and the world with the same precision we define any mathematical function! I mean, you can’t, but imagine you could!
I recently learned about the double bracket interpretation function in Linguistics and my fucking head almost exploded. I twisted myself in knots trying to write a paper that essentially explicates this (some differences, but generally this idea) and yeah…it’s so simple 💁‍♂️

Confusing stats language:

The "linear" is linear regression means "linear in the parameters".

It does not mean "can only fit straight lines", and things like polynomials and splines can be included in linear models.

🧪How does an ABC transporter 'know' nucleotides & substrates bound to far apart binding sites? Using 1H15N, 19F NMR, HDX-MS, PET-FCS & activity assays with Neuweiler, Marcoux, Orelle & Jault labs, we found a communication hinge! 😍🥳
