I'm not saying that Australian cars will drive better than American ones, but we did make a movie "The Cars that Ate Paracetamol" :)

One of the best things about being in an international server is that if I mention that I live in Bear Country (CO), the Australians all howl about how we need to shut up about Aussie wildlife, because THEIR large carnivores mostly stay in the water, NOT INVITE THEMSELVES INTO THE KITCHEN. (🧵1/?)

So you’re telling me the Wizard of Oz presented itself as a towering force of overwhelming technology, only to be unmasked as just some guy, off-screen?
So apparently, it may turn out that The Wizard of Oz at the Las Vegas Sphere wasn’t entirely made in AI and Google threw the VFX crew under the bus by claiming it was all done by artificial intelligence.

If true, then fucking yikes.

So the protesters, legally and non-violently doing what they were doing, (not attacking places of worship) are to be forced to stop doing that, because somebody else illegally and violently attacked a place of worship.
Opinion | The Victorian government is using the horrific East Melbourne synagogue attack as a veil to bring in draconian new anti-protest laws. They will only result in more division and violence, @sarahschwartz.bsky.social writes.
Victoria's draconian new anti-protest laws will have a chilling effect on free speech — and won't keep anyone safe
Far-reaching anti-protest measures and giving police more repressive powers only serve to increase the risk of escalating violence.

Predicting an absolute shitfight in the U.S. at Halloween when half the population thinks it's hilarious to dress up as ICE agents.
And the other half attacks them with baseball bats... or shoots them.

Would not be there for quids.

"How do you make friends as an adult"

Consider: you didn't know how to make friends as a kid. You were just forced into shared spaces with people and did what we're naturally inclined to do. Making friends as an adult works the same way except you have to choose the space and go to it regularly.
