Maybe I'm not dreaming big enough, but everything I've convinced myself was possible, I've found a way to make it happen.

This is the practice I am using now. It works! My context is mainly event driven distributed systems. This helps to fail fast. It helps keep complexity down, doing just enough. Helps keep focus on delivering value to the business.
I see little point in catching exceptions—just let the program fail so that the presence of the bug is known, then fix the bug and add the test. Don't want that to happen in production? Maybe you should take testing more seriously.

Just watched this. Many great points made by a great techie. Really like the TED concept, Scott shines on stage.
Hey friends! I did a TEDx talk and it's now up on the TED Conferences YouTube. It's possibly the best and most important talk I've ever done.

I would ask that you watch it, and please SHARE it broadly and widely. Thank you! youtu.be/dVG8W-0p6vg #AI #Tech #TED

Great article. And I ask my self, why are we still teaching coding in a way that is not a good practice to make software? In my mind this article goes to the core of coding practices that makes software complex, and what we can do to prevent that complexity. Thanks for writing this!
Why you’ve probably got Object-Oriented Programming wrong all this time 🤯

Most of us were taught OOP meant classes, inheritance, and exposing state via getters/setters - leading to bloated, brittle systems full of side effects and tight coupling.

But that was never the original intention!

1/ A thread on how to take down Elon Musk and Tesla.

Yes, the protests are terrific and highly useful in creating public awareness & dissuading would-be buyers. I salute the magnificent people organizing them & attending them.

But let's discuss another line of attack that can be VERY POTENT.

Wow, This has some depth to it! We are entering a time in humanity that might be hard on those who have a hard time adapting.
Okay that's what I've got. The spirit moved me and I spoke.

Compact and to the point. A lot to take in here!
Lately, I've been thinking about the topic of architecture in a bottom up culture.

So I decided to write down some thoughts.
