I of course am a massive fan of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, so I was interested in its history and plus Im doing a project where I watch at least a couple eps of every Hanna Barbara show

For the first time in my life, I'm sitting here watching a full episode of Space Ghost and Dino Boy from the 60s. This documentary I'm watching, The Real Wild West, has a bunch of stuff about our genocidal actions towards native people in the first episode, and a talking head in episode two is the biggest John Brown fanboy I've ever seen, so I'm feeling it so far.

Movies in which characters respond to mental illness by basically just saying "Have you tried to not be mentally ill?" are the most accurate depiction of how most normies deal with it.

Ray Milland is no Vincent Price in terms of sheer watchability, but so far I'm really enjoying the atmosphere of The Premature Burial, the one Corman Poe movie without Price cause it was lower budget and made by a side company who didn't have Price's contract like the full AIP did.

As time has gone on and the executive branch continues to claim more power for itself, I am of the belief that the Presidency as a whole was a mistake in the Constitution and we would have been better off with a prime ministerial style elected from a unicameral, fully representative congress

Knowing exactly what happened in detail from past podcasts and movies, I'm very thankful that this Morbid podcast series on Richard Speck chose to go pretty light on the details of the actual attack with most of the rest of it focused on who Speck was. One of the most brutal crimes out there.

In my efforts to have better than a fairly surface level understanding of stoner rock/metal, currently listening to the first album by The Obsessed and gotta say that I'm really digging it. I like most "stoner" stuff I listen to, have just never dug really deep into it beyond the best known stuff.
