So much this. Stop pretending the pardon will allow Trump to do anything he wasn't already going to do. That was foolish to believe in 2017, but insane to believe in 2024.

Decided to rewatch Rogue One due to rewatching Andor.
It really is about 1/3 of a good movie packaged in an dogshit movie.

So far I just think my main advice is take it slow. My body so badly wants to try and kick the way it did when I was 16 but I literally can't without hurting myself. It's okay to just practice technique and stretch and rebuild. I believe I'll get there eventually.

I did a ton of martial arts when I was a kid and teen and even earned my black belt, but had to stop as life got busy.
Restarting now from the beginning makes me feel like an RPG protag in a sequel who's been cursed back to level 1 and has to relearn all their skills.
