"If a woman doesn't look woman enough to a Republican, they want to be able to inspect your genitals to use a bathroom? It's disgusting.

Everyone should reject it completely... they're endangering women, they're endangering girls of all kind, and everyone should reject it. It's gross." - AOC

WOW. NBC News is reporting that more than half of the Republican Senate caucus privately admits that the Gaetz nomination will not succeed.

Repost if you think they should make their concerns public.

yeah twitter freaks are calling bluesky a fascist app bc the sun existing in the sky is secret nazi code, but cory doctorow posted a 44 tweet thread about how he refuses to use a privately funded platform where you have no real control of your data so he's staying put & i think that's much funnier

This made literally no difference on the outcome of the election. We have the exit polls. Literally none of the voters cared about foreign policy.

Kamala could have run to the left of the DSA or to the right of Ben Gvir on Gaza and it wouldn’t have mattered.
In my new op-ed for @tnr.bsky.social: Democrats abandoned their base for a neoconservative pipe dream.

That's why we, the people, must come in and transform the party, whether its entrenched leadership wants it or not: newrepublic.com/article/1881...
Democrats Need to Clean House Before They Screw Up Again
It wasn't just the people running Kamala Harris's campaign who failed. The leadership of the entire party is at fault.

Depends on jurisdiction/capabilities and availability to quarantine, but yes. Specifically for cases of bites they will do a mandatory 10-day instead of euthanasia and dissecting the brain.

Not surprised plenty of places don't have this protocol for squirrels though.

Does money buy happiness?
Some may recall findings from an adversarial collaboration that concluded that happiness keeps increasing with log(income) even at high incomes, but not among the unhappiest.

I found that "resolution" extremely confusing at the time.>
