I thought about retiring my Constitutional Interpretation class for undergrads because it was irritating for me to teach in this current environment. But I've decided to continue to teach the historic/political context from which originalism arises as Serwer indicates. The students need to know.

If you give people, say, free healthcare, or a judiciary not made up of insane people, and a filibuster-free Senate that actually passes popular things, people are going to notice that and vote for it.
