Normalizing is complicity. The overlap between folks who did this with the pandemic and are now doing it with talk of annexation is striking.
I see some people are upset with our topic Checkup Sunday. With President Trump repeating his "51st state" comments, we feel it is important to talk about. Even better, for Americans to hear our voices via the NPR stations that will be simulcasting.

FANTASTIC NEWS! In one of the first elections held after Trump’s November victory, Democrat Mike Zimmer has flipped a GOP seat by winning today’s special election in Iowa’s Senate District 35. Zimmer will fill the seat vacated when Chris Cournoyer was named Iowa’s lieutenant governor in December.
