The 10 year old has been wearing headphones for gaming recently and the downside is that he’s sometimes yelling with friends and not realizing how loud he is. The upside is that he put on Xmas music yesterday and sang along with it very loudly not thinking about the fact that we could hear it.

Mamdani got 1,036,051 votes and had 108,000 volunteers. One out of ten people who voted for him also built the campaign. Amazing.
All of us olds live in constant PTSD about Obama's campaign purposefully unwinding its volunteer army in 2009.
Good news: Mamdani's team says it's doing the opposite.

Trump's tariffs are hurting us in two ways:
First, the obvious: Higher costs → either lower profits or higher prices.
Second, more subtle (perhaps bigger): We’ve signaled we’re an unreliable partner, so allies are reorganizing supply chains to avoid us. That's hard to unwind.

As i said, just an insane sense of entitlement. It's truly unbelievable.
I guess when you've only ever been a politician you just keep trying to get elected to office, it's not like you can get a job as a sex pest or elder killer.

Super essay by @espiers.bsky.social. Good people, as almost all are, want that in their representatives—thought, care, humility, talent. Many candidates are that. When one, such as Andrew Cuomo, palpably isn’t and is running against someone who distinctly is, it’s election over.

Five bucks says he can’t name the candidates
Trump: I watched that election, which I was not much involved in. I didn't support Virginia, the candidate. Didn't do a lot of support for the other candidates.

lol. Mamdani has met either plenty of real estate execs and investors and will continue to do so. Maybe he just doesn’t need to meet with you, Kevin. Especially since you’re Canadian and not a New Yorker!
Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."

This is the most projection-y piece of projection from Trump in a while
Trump: "I stick up for Viktor Orban. Not a lot of people do because in many cases they're jealous. They wish they did what he did. They would have no problems if they did what he did."
