I got to "Tsunkatse" in my Voyager rewatch last night, and honestly, "What if our beloved entertainment is built on the exploitation and suffering of performers" turns out to be a bit on the nose for both the WWE and Berman-era Star Trek.

To my EXTREME annoyance:
a) although bsky posted about this before it was enabled, the setting to turn off autoplay was not available until after I saw gifs
b) for some reason the first gif I saw here autoplayed even though I have image animation turned off in firefox config

I looked at my youtube home page for the first time in a while - I usually skip it because I use duckduckgo's bang search - and yiiiikes. It's always such a reminder of how the algorithm steers attention.
