RFK Jr had committed to Bill Cassidy, as a condition to win his vote, that he would keep website language.

Cassidy in February: “If confirmed… CDC will not remove statements on their website pointing out that vaccines do not cause autism.”

Note the language in second photo.

It’s gonna be a squeaker, boss. $1M more should do it

Per Fox News’ Bill Melugin, the head of Denver’s ICE field office has been removed and will likely be replaced with a Border Patrol official, as part of broader DHS reshuffle intended to further escalate arrests:

A large, rigorous study published in JAMA last year found no association between autism and #acetaminophen use in pregnancy after accounting for heritability.

Why push this connection? Because it's strategic to make autism seem preventable. If it's preventable, then responsibility for prevention falls to moms. And if that responsibility is moms', then society doesn't need to spend public resources supporting autistic people and their families.

ACOG reaffirms that acetaminophen is safe for managing pain and fever during pregnancy. No reputable studies support suggestions like those in HHS’s recent announcement linking acetaminophen use in pregnancy to autism; in fact, high-quality studies show no such risk. https://bit.ly/47Wxc59

My kids have been doing lock down drills since they were 6 months old. On Sept. 4 my 8 yr old was at a Denver library when someone fired shots outside. His elementary school scheduled their first drill of the yr days later, but it was cancelled last minute b/c of Evergreen. Too much to ask of kids.
"I've had an escape plan for every classroom I've been in for the last twelve years." Student leaders from Evergreen High School share their candid thoughts with our @marcsallinger.bsky.social following last week's shooting.

NEW research from CO: policies that keep kids covered keep kids healthy and reduce spending -- total medical bills are more than 3X higher for kids without continuous coverage. But CMS just prohibited Colorado's continuous coverage policy from going into effect. www.coloradokids.org/about/news/p...
Press Release: Report: Children’s Campaign calls for federal government to remove ban on a Colorado health coverage policy that supports babies and toddlers

This policy will discourage lawfully present immigrants who are eligible for Medicaid from signing up, or signing their kids up, leaving them without health insurance. That, of course, is a feature, not a bug.

These policies were designed to ensure infants & young children get consistent care during the most critical years of brain & physical development.

Cutting them off risks worse health outcomes—& it drives up costs for everyone.

TLDR: It’s bad policy, bad economics, & it puts families’ needs last.
👀In the name of “protecting vulnerable Americans” the Trump Administration will rip away Medicaid coverage from babies and toddlers👀

CMS announces Medicaid demos that 8 states are implementing to cover babies and young children continuously w/o gaps due to red tape will no longer be allowed.

Hours after ICE became the highest federal law enforcement agency in America history (and likely in world history), the Supreme Court lifts the last obstacle to ICE deporting people to any random country around the world, even in conflict zones or where migrants are enslaved.
Over dissents from Justices Sotomayor & Jackson (and a rare concurrence from Justice Kagan), #SCOTUS "clarifies" that its 6/23 ruling staying a district court's injunction against third-country removals *also* applies to the district court's later order requiring a remedy for those already removed:
