The proposed public charge changes will increase fear, worsen health outcomes, and destabilize communities — impacts DHS itself has acknowledged.

We urge DHS to withdraw this proposal. Health care access should not come with fear. Read our full statement here >> https://pulse.ly/w0uqd8ree0

Without action, millions of families will see their health insurance premiums spike on January 1. For many, that will mean being forced to choose between coverage and other basic necessities like rent, groceries, or medication.

Congress should not leave for the holidays without acting✊
Urgent update.

Our bipartisan petition to force a vote on a straightforward extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits now has 218 signatures.

Mike Johnson should bring the bill to the floor immediately.

The proposed Public Charge changes will cause fear & confusion while pushing families away from essential care. Immigrant families aren’t the issue, but they are being unfairly blamed.

Our communities need safety, support, and stability. Not policies that cause fear and confusion.

We actually just wrote a blog about this. Cash subsidies sound simple — but the impact is severe.

Younger, healthier people would flock to low-quality “junk” plans or drop coverage altogether.

Who’s left? Older & sicker people, skyrocketing premiums, and a real threat to the ACA.

Community health centers were created to expand access to care, not to sue patients, garnish wages, or bury families in medical debt. New report shows some centers have filed thousands of lawsuits against the very people they’re supposed to serve.
