This is why I say the only use case for cryptocurrency is organized crime.
Ransomware. Everything is a market. It turned out that it does not matter how weak your security is if there is not a way to monetize compromise. There were attempts before cryptocurrency. But they were largely laughable and unscalable. It was time of the vigilante hacker – who did it for the game.
