Gender/identity issues were NOT the obsessions of most Dem candidates in 2024. Those were what GOP-aligned media were CLAIMING were Dem obsessions, and you obviously fell for their propaganda.

I genuinely think that evangelical Christianity becoming Like This is largely the result of a theological system that removes essentially all accountability for one's actions as soon as one becomes "saved". If one's conduct towards others no longer matters, it becomes much easier to justify Trump.
not to sound like a fundamentalist here but you ever wonder if these people ever imagine standing before the Divine and justifying their actions
I suspect the line about cars, e bikes, &c points not just to attacking people applying from temporary work visas, but more generally to a future migration crisis stemming from a major European war.

I see Pam Bondi and Kash Patel have finished scrubbing Trump's name from the Epstein files.
Trump: "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide."

💯👍
Nuzzi's fawning coverage of the sociopathic conspiracy crank she was having an affair with aided his rise to political power, which he is using to perpetrate the worst intentional public health catastrophe of our unnecessarily shortened lifetimes, and THAT is the STORY.

This isn't complicated stuff. MAGA think that Dems will do what they do, which is protect everyone in their political party, despite the moral bankruptcy of it all.

MAGA, we're not you.

This may be Trump's perfect social media post. A true work of art. He confirms:

✅He personally directs criminal investigations.
✅He is targeting opponents.
✅Epstein "records" exist and he knows the contents.

Bonus points for connecting it to investigation of his fondness for Putin.👀

Holy crap, Yglesias actually being right for once!
This is what's so aggravating — yes, it was not working in extracting a policy concession but it was working in *driving down trump's numbers and provoking GOP infighting* which is what's important if you take Dem rhetoric about the perils of MAGA remotely seriously.
weirdly honest messaging from the breakaway mod/institutionalist leaders who blew up the party strategy

they're explicitly giving up. "It wasn't working so we quit" that's the message

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

After learning about his comment, she doubled her donations.

Ironic that the Defense Secretary for Donald "I deserve the Nobel Peace Prize!" Trump is jonesing so hard for a hot war so he can show what a tough guy he is.
OK, one, there is a reason to go to wartime footing, and that is war. I get that he is excited about war but that doesn't mean there is one.

Two, we get it: you heard someone say FAFO and thought it was cool. It is not actually cool. Maybe you should say we will get 67 drones or something?
Hegseth: "We are not building for peacetime. We are pivoting the Pentagon and our industrial base to a wartime footing. Building for victory should our adversaries FAFO."

If we are successful in blocking their authoritarian plans for permanent rule, then you can call them dipshits. Until then, don't underestimate their cunning, resources, or willingness to do anything, legal or illegal, to achieve their vile goals.
Whatever their plan is, it didn’t help them on Tuesday. Let’s not give these dipshits more credit than they deserve.

Trump's need for constant attention is truly insatiable.
I have never seen a human being react to anything the way Trump reacts when an assembled audience is paying attention to anyone other than him, for any reason.
