just unfathomable grift from the highway lobby and the freeway industrial complex. hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to consultants for four years to propose a simply untenable overbuilt freeway expansion, while the state lays off all the snowplowe workers and cuts transit service.

I don't trust the state government after how badly they botched this measure. I would rather just fund TriMet locally.

Please spend a moment to fill this survey about Waterfront Park out

I suggest that you fill every field out with "put in a playground, concession carts, and RIP OUT I5 along the eastbank".

the real doom loop is service cuts to our transit system. if you cut frequency on an already infrequent system, it’s going to hurt ridership, which will lead to more cuts and fare hikes, which further hurt ridership. all of that of course adds future liabilities to the rest of the transport system
Proposed 2026 Transit Service Changes
Weigh in on proposed service efficiencies and cuts for Aug. 23, 2026, as TriMet reduces spending.

Does anyone here attend the #criticalmass bike ride in #salemoregon?

FanDom says it happens every first Friday at 5:30p. Curious if it is still a thing.

I was on the Klamath Lake Land Trust board for a while and got to see the development of indigenous led land acquisition strategies taking place in the area.

Amid a lot of chaos, it warms my heart that so many examples of long-term care & stewardship are coming out of the Klamath watershed.

Despite two days of snow in Utrecht NL and people are still biking.

Paths haven't been cleared over the weekend, but wide lanes, clear signals, and well-controlled car drivers make biking possible.

Transportation policy intersection w Trump’s war in Venezuela
Portland city councilor Mitch Green, a veteran, speaks at the rally, which is about to march through Portland. He says this is a local issue, because city can’t fix potholes when the U.S. instead spends money invading other countries for oil.
