My (new) job has a light system activated by motion in sections. I am usually the 1st one here and my dept. is at the end of a long winding hallway.

This is why I never leave the house without headphones regardless whether I turn them on. Beyond a quick "hello" in return to a greeting and a "thank you" I am not participating.

#nokings rally I went to in Extremely Normie Chicago suburb was easily triple the size of earlier one. TRIPLE. & that was much bigger than I thought it would be. Previous one, occasionally cars would beep, this time every single car was leaning on the horn the whole time. Encouraging cacophony. 👊🏻💚

I am on the 2nd flr w/a unit above me. My bathroom ceiling is leaking. After a week, someone has finally come to look at it. I currently have no bathroom ceiling but a rapid flow of water coming from where it used to be and have a 4PM job interview. The many octaves and tongues I want to scream in!

I am aware that many are looking for work and the job market is insane. I am doing a bit of whining and hoping on my TL. After being somewhat forced out of my job in May, a job I liked, I have scored an interview for a job I am qualified for but not on paper. There are many candidates. 🤞🏾🤷🏽♀️

I have been scrolling through Bluesky on and off since 6 AM EDT and seeing posts that say 'don't engage, just block' without knowing who is being blocked. Just now, someone wrote his name. I went to block, and I see I already have him blocked. NICE!
