never let anyone tell you everyone was united in support of the Iraq War. I saw a guy on the news, on 9/11, on the street in NYC as the WTC burned behind him, telling the reporter "I just hope Bush doesn't start a war over this". We have literally always been here don't let people tell you otherwise
One of the strangest aspects of aging that they don't warn you about is watching as history gets rewritten right in front of your face and people 20 years younger than you confidently tell you about something you lived through and get it completely wrong.

When did all the streaming services decide that the highest quality video setting was "best available" and not "1080p"?
It's my choice to let it buffer if my Internet isn't strong enough. Stop downgrading the quality halfway through an episode.

Bounty Hunters (4) and The Smuggler (7) are fun little adventure romps, Bird of Paradise (8) is a bit more introspective and abstract, and BLACK (9) is just full arthouse horrors of wars

Remember those national guard troops sent to Chicago by Texas Gov Greg Abbott? They went home after sitting at a suburban training facility doing nothing for a month. Abbott's little stunt cost taxpayers at least $12M. What an abuse of power.
