I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

I am a hypermasculine and extremely powerful alpha male. As such my greatest fears are seed oils, rainbows, people who don't look like me being on TV, and preventative medicine. I cannot explain any of these fears and consider that to be your fault.

They have not incentivized these young people to have kids and they know it.

They neglected us Xers, snatched the rug out from under the Millennials’ finances, traumatized Gen Z… now they want the birth rate to go up?!

Give folks single payer healthcare, UBI, housing & a year or two off. Or STFU!

Happy birthday, @uaw.org! Thanks for driving the labor movement forward. 🚗

🧵 The UAW turns 90 today!

The UAW’s legacy isn’t measured only in contracts or factories. It’s seen in the millions of workers whose lives are more secure because they organized together for a better life.

The modern university was a bureaucratic creation, a true modernist project despite medieval trappings and early modern traditions, and as such always contained seeds of its own destruction.
As @lollardfish.bsky.social says, only labor solidarity (sometimes disguised as intellectualism) will save it
It's the managerialism that runs these institutions, an administrative class removed from the core purposes of universities--teaching and researching--which deploys a combination of political, economic, and cultural power to aggrandize themselves through the propagation of bullshit labor
When the dust settles, and if universities have meaningfully survived, it will be worth asking how institutions usually so resistant to thoroughgoing change chose to leap with both feet into an untested technology they didn't understand and didn't know how to use.

Fascinating survey data on the missing Biden voters by Lake Research. The voters who sat out in '24 weren't looking for a centrist or turned off by trans rights. They want a genuine economic populist agenda: take on corporate greed, lower costs, and make the wealthy pay their fair share.

If I could define my disdain for mainstream media in one way it would be this: no one gets smarter or more informed about policy/history/procedures from watching CNN. If you forced someone to watch CNN cover a bill for a month, 99% of viewers wouldn't be able to answer basic questions about the bill

THE PENTAGON BUDGET JUST HIT A TRILLION DOLLARS.

Not a single pundit from either political party said “how are we going to pay for it?!”

Don’t dare tell us we cannot ALL have healthcare, housing, and education.

You see Trump is never wrong. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever or ever.
🤣🤣🤣🤣

I would say unbelievable, but it’s completely believable.

According to Trump, January 2024--when Biden was in office—was Trump’s market.

Meanwhile, April 2025—while Trump is in office—that’s Biden’s stock market.

Some idiot is going to say this makes sense, too.
