Just to make the point clear... when multiple voting blocs need to agree on a candidate, and one bloc tells you they have a moral line that they won't cross to support a certain candidate, the onus is not on them to swallow their morals. It's on you to find a different candidate that works for them.

If I had the choice of either a Kamala ticket in '24 vs an AOC ticket in '28, I'd 100% pick AOC bc AOC is better in every way.
But Kamala did run. And we lost 2 elections with women at the top with "unexplained" defections from supposed blue bases. I think we see the same thing with an AOC ticket

One of the more telling things about America is that the case against ICE rests entirely on the fact that they killed to White ppl. There's equally damning evidence (which would actually stack the deck againt ICE) that they tried to kill another woman and lied about. The problem? She's not White.

Sometimes I wonder if movies would be better if sometimes the bad guys won? Like... I don't think it's a coincidence that Thanos winning at the end of IW also set up the story to be one of the best adventure movies of the 2000s.

It's so nice that we are currently debating whether parents opting for trans care for children is harmful, while shrugging our shoulders at parents killing their kids by not getting them vaccinated.
