What a photograph.

“Nearly two dozen arrested as faith leaders protested outside a federal immigration facility near Chicago…”

Arrested large amounts of peaceful clergy face first on pavement is a pretty good sign you’re not the good guys in the story. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

Trump demanded Texas and other red states redraw their congressional districts to rig the midterms in Republicans' favor.

California fought back by redrawing its map to balance out this power grab. Now, Trump’s DOJ is suing California.

The hypocrisy is endless.

Cal should've won.

WAR has always devalued catchers, who are involved in every play on defense. And Cal was a great defensive catcher who HIT 60 HOMERUNS and led his team to a division title.

The writers are paying attention to a measurement that is faulty. Someday they'll know.
That’s right Bryce

Great quick read from Robert Reich
Trump is a monster. He is an aspiring dictator who wants to wield the same power as a Stalin or Hitler, and he wants to be remembered through statues, stadiums and ballrooms.
He should be remembered as both a liar and traitor

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

The sheer number of people Trump pardoned — 1,500+ — and the magnitude of violence many (most?) of them committed means it is statistically likely that a fair number will be revidivists, potentially for more egregious crimes. The pardons should be a top story EVERY DAY

This is correct
“What is new is the confluence of three trends:

The sheer scale of wealth for the richest.

The untethering of compensation from performance.

The amount of harm these figures are willing to inflict on society.

All three are rising to a dangerously high tide.

I don't care how Schumer himself votes. The bottom line is that as Senate Majority Leader, Lyndon Johnson would have last night had on his desk eight sealed mason jars with the severed hands of every senator who even thought about raising them to vote yes. As a majority leader should.

Why does IMDb think Frank Tuttle is "known for" directing a 1922 silent movie that has zero ratings on its own website rather than, say, "This Gun for Hire," with 11k ratings, and which made a star of Alan Ladd? No idea. You have to ask IMDb.

What is Frank Tuttle 'Known For'?
Wait, who's Frank Tuttle? That would've been my question last week. Tuttle was a director in Golden-Age Hollywood, mostly at Paramount, mostly doing genre stuff, who got tagged as a communist...

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.
