I mean for me the disturbing thing is the implication it creates in terms of how many men out there are only refraining from fucking kids because they can't afford to get away with it. I used to think the number was a lot higher.

I always forget Diane Sawyer worked for the Nixon WH Ass't Press Secretary and then *stuck with* Nixon post-resignation, even helping him prepare for the Frost interviews. Wild.
This catches people off guard, but it's an old story in right wing. Pat Buchanan, William Safire, Ben Stein, and Diane Sawyer were all unrepentant refugees of the Nixon White House. The story of the American right has been a 51-year campaign of revenge for the Passion of Richard Nixon.
