Labbacallee is Ireland’s largest example of a wedge tomb.
The name Labbacallee derives from Leaba Chaillí, which can be roughly translated to ‘The Hag’s Bed’.
Archaeologists discovered the remains of an adult woman, a man, and a child. All dating between 2456–1776 BC.

My mind blown to smithereens as I look through the entire catalogue of Ubu Productions and realise that I can only ever have seen this endcard and slogan, one of the most memorable TV stings of my entire childhood, on those eight occasions I watched an episode of Spin City to the end.

How bad are tariffs going?
I paid for $32 of shaving cream from Canada. Unique stuff I’ve used for years, nothing like it in US. Small family business.
UPS guy came to my door today with box and said I have to pay additional $120 before he can hand it to me.
That makes it 5x more expensive!!! 🤯

It’s worse than “Gaza is being starved and destroyed and no one cares.” It’s that hundreds of millions *do* care and are powerless to stop it. We need a world where that can never happen, where the masses actually have political power.
