Fentanyl. Drug Overdoses, including Fentanyl, are not even in the top 20 causes of death in the USA. Cancer, Diabetes, Covid, Heart Disease all in the top 10, and all have had their research funding cut. They aren't murdering just Venezuelans. However they are killing us much slower.

I quit Twitter on 1/1/2018 for mental health reasons. Best decision I ever made.
Bluesky might not be as busy as X or Threads, but nothing beats the peace of mind & sanity it brings. Deactivating my Twitter account was tough for legacy reasons, but for my mental health, it was one of the best social media decisions I’ve made. Bluesky wins for a calmer, better online experience.

The context matters. We know - for certain - there is a diplomatic path to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. The Obama agreement was working. And as late as a week ago, Iran was back at the table again. Which makes this attack - with all its enormous risks - so reckless.
