Amateur pundit with a penchant for perms—never fight a man with one. Hailing from the same hometown as my moniker (we never met). Former Raptors Republic partner. President, Rick Mahorn Fan Club. Soundtrack: alt/folk/jam bands/rock, classic ’80s/’90s rap.
Raptors need more bigs. I’d take a chance on him.
The San Antonio Spurs and forward Jeremy Sochan have agreed on his release to allow the 2023 All-Rookie team member to become a free agent, sources tell ESPN. Sochan is expected to decide among multiple interested teams.

Man, I love this team. Congrats to Brandon Ingram on being named an All-Star yesterday. Well deserved. Can’t wait to see all the Raptors representation this weekend.
Brandon Ingram is the 3rd player over the last 35 years with 6+ years in between All-Star appearances.

The others: Jrue Holiday (10-year gap), Manu Ginobili (6-year gap).

There was never a truer “Elbows Up” than Gordie Howe. He didn’t just play hockey—he made it a policy. Fack you Trump!

At least we don’t have to worry about Duren and “Beef Stew” tonight versus Detroit. Pistons still super strong though, but I like our chances.
NBA suspensions for the Pistons-Hornets fight, sources tell ESPN:

Isaiah Stewart: 7 games

Miles Bridges: 4 games

Moussa Diabate: 4 games

Jalen Duren: 2 games

I know I shouldn’t laugh. My issue isn’t with the athletes, it’s with what Trump wants the USA to represent right now. But three guys ejecting at the first push while one dude soldiers on in the sled is straight-up comedy.

P.S. This clip isn’t Milano. It’s from a previous World Cup event.
Plans to invade Greenland have just been cancelled after this

Prediction time: it’s a Joey Loperfido breakout season. Barger and Lukes had theirs last year—now it’s Joey’s turn. Book it.
Somewhere in the greater Dunedin-St. Pete area, Joey Loperfido subtly pumps his fist.

As frustrated as I was with how Berríos handled things at the end of last season, with Bieber not ready to start the year I’m glad it seems like water under the bridge. Here’s hoping Berríos finds his old form—he’s definitely got something to prove now.
John Schneider says things "have been handled" with José Berríos regarding how 2025 ended, saying both sides could have "handled it a bit differently."

"He’s had conversations with the guys he needs to have conversations with. We want to just put that behind us.” #BlueJays

How are we only finding this out now when he missed most of last season with that shoulder? Santander needing surgery as the season starts is confusing as hell.
Give the ABs to Loperfido, Barger, and Lukes—and defensively, we won’t miss him. Smell ya later Santander!
News: Anthony Santander will undergo left labral (shoulder) surgery and miss 5-6 months. #BlueJays

It’s sounding more and more encouraging that Yak Attack could be back in the fold soon.
Collin Murray-Boyles did not practice today. Jakob Poeltl did.

Both are questionable Wednesday.

I’m way less excited for USA vs Canada now that Marie-Philip Poulin has to miss it. Missing the best female hockey player in the world will unfortunately be felt by Canada.

Sweeeeeet …. BI and Scottie repping the Raptors at the All-Star game. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Toronto's Brandon Ingram has replaced Stephen Curry in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.

Trump’s rant that China will “terminate hockey in Canada” and “permanently eliminate the Stanley Cup” is peak moron bullshit. Also… a Canadian team hasn’t won since 1993—so that “threat” mostly lands on U.S. teams. Par for the course.
Trump's rants are like Al Capone in his syphilitic period.
He thinks China is going to ban ice hockey.
Nope but they may build an auto plant in Canada.
The Germans are talking about building one as well.
As for the Gordie Howe Bridge? Good luck threatening $700 billion in trade.

Hearing Vegas and Seattle are next in line for NBA teams… makes sense, but I’d really love to see Vancouver or Montreal get serious consideration one day too. Canada can definitely support another team.
From Brad Townsend:

“I’m hearing the NBA Board of Governors are likely to vote on expanding by two teams this summer and Las Vegas and Seattle are favored.”

If the NBA expands into the Las Vegas and Seattle markets, the West will need to shed one team. Looking at Wolves, Grizzlies, and maybe Pels.

Man how do you miss the point so completely, I don’t speak Spanish, I am not someone super familiar with Bad Bunny’s music. This was a presentation of joyful Hispanic humanity from start to finish in the face of persistent systemic dehumanization by this administration and mainstream media.

Bad Bunny's style has always defied expectations. So, amid intense speculation that he would use his Super Bowl outfit to subvert masculine stereotypes, stage a protest or publicly lambast ICE (again), it was perhaps no surprise that he did precisely none of those things. https://cnn.it/4kv3OY6

I’m not a Bills fan, but Buffalo would’ve made for a more entertaining and likely more competitive game against Seattle. Pats are fuckin’ boring and not just tonight.

I will say, the music selection during commercial breaks has been great. Pretty sure they just played Screaming Trees’ “Nearly Lost You.”

Hopefully Sam Darnold finally gets the respect he deserves. He’s been bounced around the NFL, and while I’m not sure he’s “the guy”, he’s definitely proven he’s worthy of a spot.
February 9, 2026 at 2:50 AM
Right team, right moment is winning. No offense to Boston, but you guys win plenty—and your owner’s a Trump guy—so I’m happy for Seattle. Y’all deserve this… plus your music scene clears Boston’s by a mile.

They are saying Kid Rock handed his Grammy to lil’ Kyle Rittenhouse during the halftime show.

(Not true. Kid Rock has never won a Grammy).
February 9, 2026 at 1:50 AM
If that was Liam Ramos that Bad Bunny handed his Grammy to, that’s a masterclass in human decency on the biggest stage. And imagine if Bad Bunny had worn Liam’s bunny hat too? Next level.
Bad Bunny giving his Grammy to little Liam Ramos made my entire night. The only thing more powerful than hate is love! ❤️

Not only did Kid Rock have his own halftime show, but it was lip-synced so badly his mouth was on a different time zone than the audio. This is hilarious! 🤣😂
Kid Rock lip synced his entire performance at the Turning Point USA Half Time show
February 9, 2026 at 1:47 AM
That was pretty damn impressive—especially considering I don’t know a single Bad Bunny song.

Just adjusting my rabbit ears so I can tune into Kid Rock.
