Generative AI is essentially copy paste but with large datasets analyzed probabilistically. Maybe that's useful but it's not intelligence and doesn't justify the absurd amounts of investment it's attracted

Still haven’t seen Wicked, but it does warm my heart to know that there is now an entire other generation that is going to attempt to read, and inevitably decide not to finish, the book it’s based on
