The "nothing matters" crowd gets another strike against their "give up" message. The fight continues. But for the people on this bus, the Supreme Court decision matters a lot.
Video from Friday shows ICE buses heading toward an airport in North Texas before turning around as the Supreme Court ruled the Trump administration must, for now, refrain from deporting Venezuelan men based in the state under the Alien Enemies Act.
As legal fight raged, ICE buses filled with Venezuelans heading toward airport turned around, video shows
At least 28 detainees were placed on buses Friday evening at ICE’s Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas, and then driven toward an airport about an hour away.

The New York Times declares dignity, professionalism, and courage in law firms “nearly impossible.”

I suggest this framing exposes more about legacy media’s own problems than it does about the legal profession.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court will hear arguments in three cases against President Trump's attempt to end birthright citizenship on May 15.

These challenges are separate from our case but they're united by one principle: President Trump doesn't have the authority to override the Constitution.

Suppressing the voices and influence of both experts & academia is part and parcel of authoritarianism, and Trump has been rabidly beating this drum.

With many universities bending the knee, the fact that others are now coordinating "mutual defense" efforts is a hopeful sign. More of THIS, please!
Universities should have independence from the government and following Harvard’s lead, the Big 10 schools which include MI State, Rutgers, Indiana U, etc agree to form a compact to fight off trumps threats. This is how to stand up and fight to protect our democracy!

In America, you have a right to due process. Without it, the government could arrest or deport you for any reason. That’s what is happening in America right now. That is what dictators do. And that is what we are fighting against.

How many people do you think have received threats from Trump, Musk & their goons?

Thousands?

This interview by Rachel Maddow was chilling.

You must watch & share it because our government is being attacked from within!
