Perfectly put👇🏻
Heartbreaking to watch a much of our world descend into misogyny, butchery, homophobia, transphobia and out and out racism and realise that those politicians and media outlets we thought would fight them actually are more confident encouraging them, platforming them and silencing criticism

"Mo Chara’s real problem is that the message he put out landed. Working-class people aren’t meant to speak like this, organise like this, or connect struggles across borders like this. That’s what scares them."

Which side are you on?

'Kneecap Mo Chara court appearance makes British state look panicked'
For those with eyes to see, the case surrounding Mo Chara only makes one side look unreasonable.

Sir Stephen Timms, Minister for Social Security and Disability, said “the government needs the opinions of disabled people to move forward.” - Ok. Here’s one from this disabled person: I think their new policies are dog shit. That is my opinion.

Horrifying angle of the top ladder aside, I can't help admiring their understanding of physics on the lower ladders. I'd love to know if there's anything weighing down the far right ladder, perhaps a small, easily distracted child. Or is it braced against those lintel stones? If so, genius.
I swear, the longer you look at this, the worse it gets…

Not sure who wrote it but normalising the idea that the Far Right are above the law & other ‘ values ‘ of the billionaire class seems to be Times owner & kingmaker in UK 🇬🇧 elections Rupert Murdoch’s reason to breathe .
Here is a leader in The Times arguing that Le Pen - found guilty of embezzlement in a court independent from political control - should be excused by the French government to placate her far-right following.
I don't know who writes this bollocks nowadays, but whoever you are you're an arse.

Rachel Reeves is right that the world has changed - so why won’t she change her strategy to reflect it? Rigid adherence to arbitrary fiscal rules & refusing wealth taxes is a political choice that’s causing huge pain & harm, as well as laying out the welcome mat for the populists at Reform UK
