We want 1000s of new neighbors in Lloyd, but office conversion isn't the way. We partnered with PSU MURP to study potential policy interventions to spur office-to-residential conversions, and the results were clear that this isn't a viable path. Learn more: www.ecolloyd.org/project/housing-in-lloyd

Same! This is a great space for a venue, and Monqui Presents is one of Portland's home-grown leaders in the music economy, so I'm thrilled that this is moving forward and can't wait to jump in the mosh pit with Councilor Zimmerman.
The Lloyd Center concert venue is officially moving forward—and that’s a big win for Portland. I can’t wait to see some major artists take the stage.
The project is one of two racing to deliver a new, mid-sized venue in central Portland.

The first project in the much larger redevelopment plans for the Lloyd Center is set to start construction this summer and open in 2027.
Developers have set a construction date for its Lloyd Center entertainment venue. The venue would replace a shuttered Nordstrom location.

While @pbotinfo.bsky.social works to clear key roads, we wanted to remind Portland & Lloyd property owners, you are legally responsible for clearing snow & ice from your sidewalks! Many folks still have to get to work, @trimet.org stops, grocery stores, warming centers, and more.
PBOT's A-shift (or day shift) is hard at work! We're in 24-hour operations, with two 12-hour shifts. You can follow them while they work on our Winter Weather Center portland.gov/transportati.... Right now, you'll catch Plowly McPlowface, Brrrnside, and Salt + Thaw at work!
