CVS Pharmacy will close its downtown #Portland location on March 5. It was one of the only national retailers left in downtown after Target closed in 2023.

This video of what appears to be the wife of the woman who was shot and killed by ICE today, taken immediately after the shooting, is one of the most horrifying things I've seen in a while. I'm speechless. I hope this woman is safe right now.

The North Portland Red House site will soon become 30 affordable apartments. Self Enhancement Inc. acquired the site in 2021 via a land donation.

The nonprofit has spent the last few years planning how to best redevelop the site.

Another player has submitted plans to redevelop Centennial Mills. A Vancouver developer wants to turn one of the existing buildings into a nightclub.

The proposal comes a month after design commission approved plans for the site to become a mixed-use development.

New: Conde Nast fired four employees who were among a group that confronted the company's head of human resources on Wednesday over the decision to fold Teen Vogue into Vogue/recent cuts. Employees who were fired included journalists from the New Yorker, Wired, and Bon Appétit.
