I have just recently embraced the fact that I have always been (still am?) a swamp witch, and not a prairie witch as I so often declared from the swamp in which I used to live. I aspire to be a mountain witch, so that's where I am now, but I suspect I'll end up a bog witch.

I've listened to several podcasts and read several articles on why people are souring on capitalism and they all don't mention Occupy which is weird to me because of nothing else they mainstreamed a lot of the language we use today. And it was a genuinely big deal at the time.

My back went out last month and I’m still struggling. It’s been working towards that for months, so my garden is *rough* now. But we have about a billion kiwi 🥝 more than last year. I found a gleaning charity that will take most of it and leave us a little to reduce food waste. 😊

If only the Orange King was the backbone of the right wing movement. He’s just a front man. The real danger is behind him, obscured from view. ONE of the biggest problems we have is the Supreme Corruption who broke the Constitution to allow him on the ballot. They have lifetime appointments.

It's disgusting that we need laws to keep grown men from marrying children. This should not be legal.

"Child marriage" is still legal- but we don't hear about "child grooms" of 14 marrying grown women.

Just gotta say as a trans person who gets death threats couched as "jokes", I'm glad that the rules are being applied this way. When mods are left to make subjective decisions about who is joking and who isn't, threats against marginalized ppl go unmoderated and we are told they dont violate the TOS
