I hope you can bring to light what is needed to avoid what happened in the CFS advisory committee.

I am not surprised HHS is dragging their feet!

Especially now that there is social media that can more quickly expose the kind of shenanigans they used with CFSAC to block myalgic encephalomyelitis.

Shout out to long time myalgic encephalomyelitis advocates

Anything you want to tell @thesicktimes.bsky.social about the CFS Advisory Committee?

Advocates worked hard only to experience

- recommendations ignored/blocked
- patients crash from giving testimony that was ignored
- members harassed..
For @thesicktimes.bsky.social, I wrote about the new HHS advisory committee on #LongCovid opening nominations. The HHS announced the committee more than a year ago, showing a dire lack of urgency. Will they listen to the committee or will they tokenize them?

He also scrawled "Gulf War Syndrome stuff", another dismissive slur aimed at post-viral illness sufferers

To Poole ferry terminal for C-vax. As usual, we were the only ones in the waiting area wearing masks. First C-vax I've been eligible for for over 12mths. Both of us (one >75 group, one >65 group) received Pfizer XBB, so it was worth waiting until October for the newer vaccine.
