Since there seems to be some disbelief on here that it ever happens, yes petroleum etc nationalisations are, & have long been, a thing.
NB: per the fundamental principle in international law of permanent sovereignty over natural resources.

What is even more impressive to me is that, for the media: IEA acronym = the think tank & not the very prominent (in my world) International Energy Agency. TBH, I cannot even remember what the IEA think tank acronym stands for, just that they keep popping up in the media (the point of Alex's post).

I wrote about crypto. The knock has been that the technology has few use cases. But, post-election I think crypto's legacy is clearer. Its killer app is creating a money/influence flywheel for a specific type of reactionary anti-institutionalist to influence politics. It's gonna get weird (gift)

Offt, very hard to call! I don't think SF will do as well as they did last election but could still be largest. Think it will be close with FF. I can't see FG retaining power despite the polls, but stranger things have happened!
