There's no rule of journalism that says you have to show a president telling lie after lie – uncorrected – many times a day. That's a decision that corporate media are making for purposes other than delivering the truth to the public.

Sums it up. You need to care about what other parties are saying, because they will help you locate which party you would fit best in. Mahmood has no business holding office in the Labour Party.
Green MP Carla Denyer accuses Shabana Mahmood of trying to "out Reform Reform" and says "toxic racist narratives and the scapegoating of migrants" are to blame for "tearing our country apart" not migrants.

Mahmood: "I couldn't care less what any other political party has to say about these matters"

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

The ITV exposé on COVID now turns its sights on testing. I was stunned in 2020 when Sir Paul Nurse - Director of the Francis Crick Institute - told me he’d written to the government to offer the services of the Crick (the biggest biomeolecular lab in the country) - and never got a reply…

NEW: An Oxford report warns that misleading media coverage is shaping public debate on immigration and human rights.

The study finds the ECHR is frequently misreported in deportation cases, fueling misconceptions that erode trust in the legal system.

This is phenomenal.

And it’s not even difficult - it’s just laying out the extensive evidence we have about Farage and his hypocrisies.

The fact that he’s faced barely an ounce of this in the UK over the last year is why he’s leading in the polls.
Jamie Raskin, "They only want to protect free speech that they agree with"

JR then demolishes Farage, ending with

"You might want to think twice before you let Nigel Farage Make Britain Great Again"

Farage's tactic as an MEP was to show up just to make an anti-EU tirade and then clip it for YouTube. Nice to see the tactic used the other way around.

A point I've not seen so much, but I think is important for women who are satisfied that Reform's plans to scrap the ECHR wouldn't impact them.. do you really trust Farage and friends to enshrine your hard-won rights?

We now have >250 wards/divisions reported and an increasingly clear picture of the Reform vote. It is higher in areas with fewer graduates, more people with no qualifications, areas where more people are employed in primary industries (e.g. manufacturing) and areas with more older people.
