Ha this is a brilliant way of putting it
It's kinda like if you were born intuitively feeling like the A button should be on the right, X should be up, B down, etc. but life hands you an Xbox controller and everyone gets super weird the moment you ask about button remapping.

The UK government really will take queer kids' phones away during school and age-restrict their access to queer information rather than abandon Cass, FWS, the EHRC's anti-trans hate, renounce genitally-obsessed bigotry, and go to therapy.

There's absolutely no way I'm uploading ID or a face scan for ages verification to any site. But are there any downsides, privacy issues or risks when verifying using a payment card that are any different from other sites that already handle payment cards?

The world is just fucked, in every conceivable way. And at the top of the Ponzi scheme of suffering is cis-het (or so they say) billionaire men cashing in on people they just see as cattle, simply there to be ground into meat as they burn the world with their endless hunger for money and power.

As someone who doesn't trust third parties with the most personal of my personal data, and to cheap to spend money on a VPN 😅, it looks like I'm going to get frozen out of a lot of the internet. Well, whatever is left after cautious site owners close their sites down.

The world is too depressing. It's just an overload of evil and corruption and I just don't understand the mindset of people who can be so cruel and self serving.

The EHRC – the body which is meant to protect our human rights – is proposing guidance which would turn the Equality Act into a bathroom ban. If this becomes law, it would force trans people out of public life.

And terrifyingly - this is all happening behind closed doors 🧵

Blue Labour have one trick (copy the right and say it’s left) and it literally has a zero percent success rate
A group of Labour MPs, peers and supporters write:

“We should legislate to root out DEI in hiring practices, sentencing decisions and wherever else we find it in our public bodies.”

Devastated to see how quickly this has arrived in the UK mainstream.

Well... The vocal well funded minority have again shifted the political landscape in the UK, this time against Trans people. This will undoubtedly lead to more harassment in public as well. I hate this country.

trans ppl aren't doing anything beyond simply existing.

the hatred we receive from the press and politicians is bigotry.

it's not 'concerns'. there is no conflict with women's rights or safety. it is just bigotry. they've just found a minority they can gleefully stomp on without public pushback.

This is a prerequisite to targeting the LGBTQ community with criminal investigations solely based on being LGBTQ.

I’ve spoken to several ex-Tavi clinicians and can corroborate everything that’s stated in this article.

GIDS was targeted by ideologically driven ‘gender critical’ transphobes - both inside and outside the service - and replacing it with a non-affirmative model became a political project.
