Maduro's tenure as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela shows pretty conclusively that the people will always continue to choose the graveyard of a stillborn revolution over the active inhumane malice of foreign-imposed neoliberal capitalism, ten times out of ten.

Maduro hasn't been shipping cocaine into the domestic US, he was chilling here with me the whole time.

Venezuela is to Greenland what the Crimea was to the rest of Ukraine: a manifest failure of appeasement in the face of unsatisfiable fascist expansionism.

It must be met in the same way - with overwhelming popular resistance.
January 5, 2026 at 9:54 PM
What's that quiet little creaking noise?

Oh yes, that's Pandora's Box opening.
In order to justify what its done the US says any state can level charges against another nations leader (in the case of Maduro that hes responsible for killing hundreds of thousands of Americans) & that gives them the right to bomb the country & kidnap its leader & its all legal

Do we frequently write to blatant criminals and ask them to clarify what steps they are taking to comply with their legal duties?
Ofcom, which enforces the UK's Online Safety Act, says it is aware of "serious concerns" about Grok undressing people including children on X

“We have made urgent contact with X and xAI to understand what steps they have taken to comply with their legal duties to protect users in the UK," it says

NEWSFLASH: Greenland won't be a line in the sand either!

'I can excuse white American fascists conducting illegal raids on foreign heads of state, but what if our selected Foreign Enemies did exactly the same??'

Once you excuse and arm a genocide, everything else becomes permissible.
January 5, 2026 at 1:05 PM
Yet again: if you're happy to support, defend and arm a genocidal terrorist state, there are no red lines you will not cross.

We cannot expect our compromised 'liberal' governments to oppose fascist expansionism, without being forced to do so - or swept aside and replaced.
January 5, 2026 at 12:02 PM
This is just absolutely wild.

Client journalism is generally not worth the deep moral compromise in journalistic ethics it demands, but just occasionally it'll turn up a belter like this.
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

"The German police action in Poland is a fast-moving and complex situation, and we should not react without understanding the full facts. The Polish people can only celebrate the fall of their hated government. International law is the guiding framework."

- Keir Starmer, 1st Sept 1939

We have found the smoothest substance known to man, scientists will study it in laboratory conditions - the brain of the average Democrat.
Don’t tell lies absolutely no truth in that statement and I am sick of it. I am sick of people dissing Kamala Harris. Was she perfect our Democrats perfect no but we’re not fascist and we’re not about invading other countries.
January 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM
The more the Trump-Venezuela farce unfolds, the more hair-brained this scheme appears.

1. Kidnap Maduro
2. ????
3. We own Venezuela

At least previous coup attempts (under GOP AND Dem US Presidents) actually attempted to install alternative governments. This is just delusional wishcasting!
January 4, 2026 at 4:19 PM
Another one - hahahahaaaaaa
I certainly voted for Kamala Harris, who wouldn't have invaded Venezuela or cut USAID and hundreds of thousands of dead people in Africa and Asia would be alive today if she'd won.

Your take on Rockwell's paintings only shows your arrogant ignorance. 2 minutes in Wikipedia could teach you humility
January 4, 2026 at 4:01 PM
To be clear: it's not merely that Kamala Harris *would have* also invaded Venezuela - it's that Democratic presidents from Obama onwards were active participants in the US's low-level war on Venezuela since the election of Chavez.

Have you not been paying attention? Venezuelans sure have!
January 3, 2026 at 9:52 PM
If you think Trump's colonial Venezuela will ever see a return to democratic elections administered by Venezuelans themselves, I have a large formerly-nationalised petrochemicals industry to sell you.
January 3, 2026 at 9:40 PM
New Labour's electoral project was mortally wounded by Afghanistan and Iraq, in a much more stable political era.

Starmer's craven kowtowing before fascist empires will end his own in much swifter fashion.
Keir Starmer explicitly backs Trump's attack on Venezuela.

Says he has "long supported" getting rid of Maduro, who is an "illegitimate President" and "we shed no tears about the end of his regime".
January 3, 2026 at 9:29 PM
Again: the Democrats have been happy to support & equip a genocide, of course a coup in Latin America that extends the jurisdiction of the American Empire via the Monroe Doctrine wasn't going to be a red line for them.

If it was Kamala Harris doing this, they'd be hailing the 'American Century'.

The Traitors Faithful immediately ganging up on the nearest older Black lady? Must be a day ending in a Y.
January 3, 2026 at 7:50 PM
I was just pulling the Yanks' chain, but this?

This is itself a work of art I could only dream of.
Norman Rockwell was one of the greatest painters of the human figure in the history of Western Art, a master of the psychological portrait. Dozens of works by him bare that truth. That it was employed in commercial art works is irrelevant to his creative output. Open your eyes and quit your bias.
"Norman Rockwell's work is mediocre, derivative chocolate-box art that projects American exceptionalism and toxic white nationalist mythology."
January 3, 2026 at 5:59 PM
The Bolivarian Revolution's final boss was always going to be American imperialism.

Time to refound the revolution - kick out US troops! Down with their lapdog government! Build the Bolivarian state anew!
January 3, 2026 at 4:19 PM
Twisting the Monroe Doctrine to proclaim exclusive *domestic* sovereignty over the Western Hemisphere is a tall ask for a US empire in terminal decline, which is manifestly unprepared to summon a comprehensive system of continental control out of thin air.

This may all unravel, extremely quickly.
January 3, 2026 at 3:45 PM
Kidnapping the head of state of a foreign sovereign nation and putting them on trial under domestic law is indefensible no matter who that foreign head of state is.
January 3, 2026 at 3:37 PM
Fortunately, a Machado government in Venezuela would be less popular than gonorrhea, and would half a half-life less than that of the average pint of milk.
January 3, 2026 at 3:25 PM
Historic world-first of a state kidnapping the head of state of another sovereign nation and putting them on trial under domestic law.

Truly, profound, abject lawlessness.

Trump must be next to stand trial at the popular tribunal.
