Two dumb bitches telling each other 'exaaaactly'

Almost as if that was a transparent lie all along? When will you believe you've been had?

All of these hulking social structures bent toward the desire for war and destruction made mountains of dry tinder for the sparks of individual acts.

We cannot allow those structures to go without blame, and preventing catastrophe in the future will involve interrogating and dismantling them.
November 11, 2025 at 2:12 PM
We have to attribute blame to wider causes: to historic bitterness between France and Germany after the Franco-Prussian War; to the Austrian Emperor's rigidity regarding national self determination in the Balkans; to the British dreadnought arms race; to avaricious bankers who saw profit in war.

But we cannot in good conscience hold Gavrilo Princip personally responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of people. We cannot attribute all of the downstream consequences of his act to him - we limit its blameworthiness to its immediate environs.

There is factual, but not *legal* causation.
November 11, 2025 at 2:12 PM
In law, we are taught to distinguish between factual and legal causation.

Yes, the First World War wouldn't have happened (in its historic form, at least) without the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand - it set off a chain of events which led to the declarations of war by a dozen nations.

You sit astride a 3/4 of a century of monstrous failed MAD logic, like Dr Strangelove astride the bomb.

We need to take an new approach before your thinking literally ends the world (as it very nearly has, several times!).

The problem is, Senator, you're not fighting. You're surrendering. We can all see it.

Smoking gun right here.

If you'd actually talked to trans people about this, you'd learn of the ambivalent nature of parents' relationships with their trans kids. Sure, many are extremely supportive, but many really aren't. Often trans people find actually supportive family outside blood relations - frequently online. 🙄

The government spent 15 months telling me, everyone who thinks like me, even their *own MPs*, that they were unrealistic, pie in the sky, communist, benefit scrounging enablers, everything under the sun.

And now you want me to give them credit for admitting we were right all along?

No, Susan.

Exclusively between the hours of 9am and 3.45 on weekdays?

Use your brain, Nichols, using the murder of a trans girl as a wedge for this issue makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
November 10, 2025 at 7:55 PM
Brianna wasn't killed by a phone. She was murdered by transphobes - whose ideas are patronised by the state and by the Labour Party.

What good will taking away kids phones do, when transphobia is being propagated from the highest levels in society?

If you believe that macroeconomic conditions have changed at all since the last vote, I have a lovely garden bridge to sell you.

Reeves is setting policy according to sums of money that are small enough to be Treasury rounding errors.

Only rubes like you faithfully follow her twisting in the wind.
