Obviously, I stay up on the news.
I also try to stay up in my spirits.
My first news job at 19 was reviewing 9/11 and Iraq War footage and marking what wasn't usable on-air.
So, I learned early to disconnect when needed.
Unplug if you need to.

I would like to emphasize that even if the orders coming out now from DC don’t impact you directly, they likely will someday. So be concerned and fight them.
