Nice to finally know the artist behind these works. They've been circulating on Bluesky for a while, but never with any attribution. #talkingheads

Carney is in a very tough spot. Not only are the CDN and US economies so intertwined, but any "move" to move on sends Trump into a retaliatory rage. Like trying to deactivate a bomb and hoping you don't snip the wrong wire.

2) If I need to use the toilet and I'm in their neighbourhood, I'll stop in
3) Do imaginary friends count?

I like these Q & A features the Guardian does, and all the better when it’s someone I’m interested in, like Bill Bryson.

He addresses a number of things, from his writing process to the discovery of new moons.

"In the Book of Lives, something deeper is going on, rooted in the understanding that a long life, even a highly successful one, will always have moments of pain. It doesn’t mean that the pain can’t be funny. Laughing is, after all, all part of the process."

If holding a grudge is wrong, why does it feel so right? Just ask Margaret Atwood | Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett
In a culture of therapy-approved ‘forgiveness’, the author’s new memoir shows how hilarious long-delayed vengeance can be, says Guardian columnist Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett

All "Ranting Lunatic" Trump's relationships are transactional. As soon as he gets what he wants—or you become a problem, you're gone. Zero loyalty.

If your favourite indy book store doesn't have a copy in stock, most will happily order it for you no extra charge, as they regularly receive shipments from the various publishers.
But don't dither, as things can get crazier than a kitty on catnip as the holidays get closer.
