Thank God I bought my fancy countertop oven a while back. My regular oven decided to stop working, but the countertop oven is big enough and good enough to handle New Year's Day dinner and pretty much whatever else I might need an oven for until the regular oven is fixed.

Thanks to a vicious case of the flu, I am ending 2025 six pounds lighter and a full size smaller than I was going into November (despite the holidays and a long trip to Italy and France), which means I'm allowed to have as much cheese as I want on New Year's Eve
