"Liberals already ruined it" shows the plot here. These aren't impartial law enforcement officers protecting all citizens. They are partisan paramilitary militia, terrorizing domestic opponents.

People have trouble interpreting this. Nobody’s saying Donald Trump or Pam Bondi are personally selecting Nazi iconography. They don’t read enough for that. The point is they hire and promote Nazis who ARE steeped in Nazi iconography, and they’re fine with it.

In 2016, I was part of a group advising a variety of GOP presidential candidates on issues such as the economy and China. I was asked if I would also advise the Trump campaign. This is exactly the reason why I said "no". He doesn't want advisors, he wants sycophants and window dressing.

NEW: Pete Hegseth sent a letter to Congress on Tuesday announcing that the Department of Defense will allow DHS to detain immigrants on two military bases: Fort Atterbury in Indiana and Fort Dix in New Jersey.

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

My only position is that a deliberately planned military strike on another country (as opposed to a time-constrained crisis reaction) should be authorized by Congress. Not by the President on his own authority.
