This is horrifying for so many reasons. The one I'm thinking of right now is the billion dollars spent to torture and terrorize and imprison people could easily buy all of us healthcare, child care, parental leave, affordable housing ... all the things the Epstein Class swears we can't afford.

I'm a really hopeful person by nature much of the time, (annoying, yeah) but I empathize with people who aren't feeling it. If anyone's feeling hopeless they can borrow some of mine for today. Right now I have a surplus.

DOJ has spent more time and resources protecting the criminals than investigating them. Even as a blanket cover-up it doesn't make sense.
