<div class="field field-field-text"><p><a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/israel" target="_blank">Israeli</a> minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s party is advancing new legislation to restrict the Islamic call to prayer in mosques.</p>
<p>In a statement issued on Sunday, the Jewish Power party said it was working on a bill that would ban the call to prayer unless it is licensed by the state.</p>
<p>Approval would depend on criteria set by the authorities, including volume levels, noise-reduction measures, a mosque’s location, its proximity to residential areas and the impact on nearby residents.</p>
<p>The draft law was submitted by National Security Committee chair Zvika Fogel and seeks to curb what he described as the “unreasonable noise” of the muezzin, the person who calls Muslims to prayer.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/palestine" target="_blank">Palestinian</a> citizens of Israel have condemned the proposed bill, rejecting claims that mosque calls to prayer constitute a noise problem.</p>
<p>They say the legislation is another manifestation of the Israeli government’s push to erase Palestinian religious and cultural identity.</p>
<p>“This is not about noise. The call to prayer is not noise,” Khaled Zabarqa, a Lod-based human rights lawyer and activist, told Middle East Eye.</p>

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Hamas has called on <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/israel" target="_blank">Israel</a> to allow an impartial international investigation into its attack on 7 October 2023 and has rejected that it killed civilians or committed atrocities. </p>
<p>The Palestinian group published a 42-page <a href="https://palinfo.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OurNarrative.pdf" target="_blank">document</a> on Friday, which laid out its account of 7 October, as well as details on Israel’s subsequent genocide and Hamas’ view on what comes next in the enclave. </p>
<p>Around 1,200 Israelis were killed when Hamas and other groups launched a surprise attack on southern Israel over two years ago. A further 251 people were taken to Gaza as captives. </p>
<p>In the new document, Hamas said that “Western media and Zionist lobby groups” had launched a disinformation campaign about the events of the attack. </p>

I don’t know. I think becoming a billionaire breaks brains. It probably helps if you become one after maturing into a functional human first - which isn’t the case of those guy - but I suspect even then the best thing you can do for your mental health is get rid of most of it asap.

I don’t know. I think becoming a billionaire breaks brains. It probably helps if you become one after maturing into a functional human first - which isn’t the case of those guy - but I suspect even then the best thing you can do for your mental health is get rid of most of it asap.
