The US Department of Ed accounted for roughly 4% of all federal spending in fiscal year ‘24. And you want to cut it even more? Our children deserve better! Our schools deserve better! Our educators and families are worthy of our nation’s support.

We were happy to hand out these children’s books today at our Juneteenth celebration in Reno. And I loved the joy on people’s faces when they see books that represent their family, history and culture. Black history IS American history. #knowledgeispower #teachhistory

We need affordable housing, but it must be sustainable. Of the largest 242 US cities 1970-2024 the top 2 were:
1. Reno NV +7.8°
2. Las Vegas NV +5.9°
That means housing must have solar power, EV chargers, water conservation & access to sustainable transit.
