Congress recessed after voting to reopen the government, it has adjourned for the rest of the week after a single day of session. It is not expected to return until the following week. Congress was in a long recess for 54 days before returning to pass the funding bill.

It was an interesting walk yesterday. It was extremely humid and foggy as we started. When I turned down 7th, the fog enveloped us. It was thick but soothing....and oh so quiet.
